Using drain enchant
So it looks like a great skill but i've never used it. I've always opted for inspired hex (I'm a MoMe).
I take it you tab an enemy and can see enchants just under their health bar top middle of screen? Given I've never played another class, I'm not totally sure how I tell whether an enemy is enchanted IN PVE (i'm not doing pvp yet). Are there some common enchants i should look for outside the enchants i'm familiar with as a mo/me? Or do I just need to spend an evening trawling through every other class's enchants and try and remember them so I know when I can use drain enchant successfully? Thanks |

You can tell that someone is enchanted by a little yellow triagle on the right of their health bar, just target one of these people and drain enchant.
You cannot see what enchants are on them though |

er, perhaps i described it wrong, I'm talking about an enchant on the foe not a player.

In PvE you can tell what enchants they use in the area.
And All foes (players or monsters) have a swirling cloud around them when enchanted so you dont have to be targeting them to see the enchantment. Ever notice the white cloud like thing circling you when your enchanted? happens to everything thats enchanted. |

same thing.
representation is the same as for a player, you only got to have a mob targetted to see the little arrows (up = enchant, purple down : hex) |

Yep, if you have a foe targetted and there is a little upwards yellow traingle on theri health bar, they're eligible for your Drain Enchantment.
And it is every bit as sweet to use as inspired Hex. I used both yesterday in THK quite successfully. |

2 things to see an enchantment:
- On the HP bar, there a yellow triangle to mean the target is under an or more enchantments. - You can see a white cloudy circle around the target while he/she/it under an enchantment with a color symbols which it turns around that monster. Red/Orange symbol: Elemantalist Blue symbol: Monk Green symbol: Necromancer Purple Symbol: Mesmer |

Just looked in game, the arrows are definately GREEEEEEEEEN, as is the border around all enchants.
See, clearly green. Sorry, but it would drive me nuts if people keep saying yellow. Note how the line in the middle of the spell icon is YELLOW and the arrow is all be it a pale green, but it is GREEN! Last edited by Zaxan Razor; Mar 16, 2006 at 09:23 PM // 21:23.. |

Wow, someone's hp bar is messed up.
I've seen GW on 4 different computers running and ALL of them are yellow arrows by enemy hp bars and friendly hp bars... It's yellow |
